Prashant Tripathi, popularly known as Acharya Prashant, is a famous Indian writer and mentor of Advaita. He guides youths to understand the seventeen forms of the Gita and the sixty forms of the Upanishads.
He has founded a non-profitable -organization called “Prashant Advaita Foundation” to help people in need. Through his titular YouTube channel “Acharya Prashant”, he predominantly shares his motivational videos to solve problems that include both material and spiritual.
Acharya Prashant Biography:-
He was born in an affluent family on the auspicious day of Mahashivratri, in 1978 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.
The name of his parents is unknown. Sources reveal that his father was a bureaucrat. On the other hand, his mother was a housewife. He is the eldest of three siblings.
Since childhood, he manifested great interest in studies. He was equally skilful in science and humanities. His thinking was out of the box.
As a person, he was called a mystic. In school, he got many awards for his excellent performance, and for this, his mother was also honoured with the title of Mother Queen.
His teachers also loved him very much. The State Government awarded him for creating a new record in the board examination and for being an NTSC scholar.
He loves reading books. At the age of 10, he narly finished all his textbooks and requested his parents for more.
Acharya Prashant Education: –
After completing his school education, he graduated in Engineering from IIT Delhi. Then, he pursued his post-graduation in Management from IIM Ahmedabad.
Due to his father’s transferable job, he moved to Gaziabad, Delhi. From early childhood, he was adept at writing poems. At the age of 11, his first poem was published. He was an active participant in every program held at IIT Delhi.
He not only acted but also directed many plays. He even got the Best Actor Award IIT. He realized the ‘chakras’ of life and he was very eager to gain more experience. He tried to join Indian Civil Services, but due to his lower ranking in the exam, he did not get the chance.
He was different from others as he was not interested in hankering after good marks or good placement. After completing his IIM studies, he joined an NGO, which was very close to Gandhi ashram.
To manage the expenses of the NGO, he started to teach mathematics to undergraduate students. He even wrote scripts and acted in the stages to spread awareness about the original meaning of human life.
Some of his plays include “Khamosh”, “Adalat Jaari Hai”, “Rhinoceros”, “Pagla Ghoda” and “The Night of January 16th”.
At the age of 28, he stopped his journey in the corporate world to bring a revolutionary change in the mindset of common people. So, he established “Prashant Advaita Foundation” to aid students in their self-development.
To reach the maximum number of school and college students, he and his team started uploading his motivational videos on many social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
On his YouTube channel, he has earned more than 2.61 million subscribers (to date). This is how Acharya Prashant serves the youths to revitalize their energy and helps people to solve any problem in life (both material and spiritual).
