Anjum Fakih is a well-known Indian actress. Apart from acting, she is a familiar face in the field of modeling. She is famous for appearing in many superhit TV shows such as “KundaliBhagya“,” Devanshi”,” EkTha Raja EkTha Rani “etc. She has been working on the silver screen for a long time.

Anjum Fakih Biography:

Anjum was born on 12 September 1989  in Mumbai Maharashtra, India. She belongs to a Konkani Muslim family.   Later, She along with her father, KamaluddinFakih, her mother  SultanaFakih, and her younger sister (name not known) shifted to Saudi Arabia and stayed there for a long time.

After completing her early education in an unknown school in Mumbai, she pursued her graduation from Mumbai University.

Since childhood, she had a dream of becoming a model. So, at the age of 19, she came back to Mumbai not only to fulfill her dream but also to support her family financially.

Coming  back to Mumbai, she joined ElanModelling Agency Pvt. Ltd to earn a living. Then she appeared as a model in many commercial advertisements.

She made her debut in the Bollywood industry with the film “Mahi Way” in the role of Bonita Ahhuwalia in 2010. But this film got flopped and her performance was not noticed at all. After 5 years, she appeared in two serials, broadcasted on MTV.

The former was “Time Machine” where she had the role of RachitaAgnihotri, and the latter was “TereSheker Mein” in which she portrayed the role of RoshniChatterjee. In 2015, she got featured as Rani Rajeswari in a period drama entitled” EkTha Raja EkTha Rani “which was aired on Zee TV.

For her superb acting skills in this role,she received high appreciation from the viewers. But she quit the show in 2016.  After that, in February 2017,  Anjum got the role of Sakshi who was the adoptive sister of protagonist Devanshi in the social drama “Devanshi”, aired on Color’s TV.

Up next, that year in July, she achieved fame by portraying the role of Sristi in the famous TV show “KundaliBhagwa”.This show,  starring renowned Bollywood actress EktaKapoor, has been broadcasting on Zee TV till today. Thereafter,  in 2018, she appeared as a guest in other shows such as “KinkinBhagya”, and” Dil Hi TohHai”.

Later, in 2020 she worked as Noor Beg in an extended cameo in the popular serial “Nagin 5 “, produced by EktaKapoor. In addition to this, that year, she acted in two web series “Kashmakash” and “KehneToHumsafarHai” as Guddi and Nisha respectively.

Furthermore, she debuted in a music video entitled “IkDafa to Mil “with singer OyeKunal. Recently, she has been portraying the recurring role of MaitriSoodBahi in a popular TV show “Bade AchhelagteHain2” since 2021.
