Ankur Bhatia is a renowned Indian actor and model. He has been appearing in Tollywood and Bollywood movies for a long time. Some of his superhit movies include “Zanjeer”, “Coming Home”, “Coconut Grove”, “Sarbjit”, “Haseena Parkar” etc.  He is also a familiar face on various OTT platforms.

Ankur Bhatia Biography:-

He was born into a Hindu family on 24 May 1982 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. His father’s name is Sateesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia is his mother. He did his early schooling at a local school in his hometown.

Then, he graduated from a private college. To achieve a master’s degree in Mathematics, he went to the United States. There, he got a job as an Actuary in a top-tier consulting firm.

From childhood, he was passionate about modeling and acting. When he was a college student, he started modeling.  As a result,  he learned the basics of stage appearances. Then, to polish his acting skills he was admitted to   The New York Film Academy.

At the age of 28, in 2010,  he stepped into the film industry with the film “Grant St. Shaving Co.” directed by Payal Sethi and produced by Mira Nair. Here he portrayed the role of Bunty and the film became a massive hit at the box office.

In the same year, he also appeared as Riyaz in the film “Rendered”. In the next year, he acted in the film “Coming Home”  as a loverboy. He also showed up as Raj in the movie “Coconut Grove“.In 2012, he featured the role of Dev Kohli in the film “A Dirty Business”.The following year, he appeared in Apoorva Lakhia’s Bollywood film “Zanjeer” where he played the role of Bosco, a negative character.

After 3 years, in 2016,  he portrayed the role of Baldev, husband of Dalbir Kaur in the film “Sarabjit” which was directed by Omung Kumar and essayed by Aishwarya Rai.  After that, in 2017, he again made his appearance in Apoorva Lakhia’s film “Haseena Parker” in the role of Ibrahim Parker, the husband of Haseena featuring Shraddha Kapoor.

In 2020, he debuted in the Television industry with the web series “Aarya” directed by Ram Madhvani. Here he worked with Sushmita Sen in the role of Sangram Singh and this show was aired on Disney + Hotstar. That year, he also acted as Tariq in the web series “Crackdown”, telecasted on  Voot. Recently, in 2021, he appeared in the film “Bhavai”.
